The Trike

Nicola and I bought this trike in may 2002. It's cool.
It has a 2.3l Ford Granada engine and we think the rear axle is from an E-type Jaguar. It's a lot of fun to ride and there's plenty of space for tents and food.

We decided to fit a roll bar. In the event of an accident it doesn't have anything in the way of crumple zones or head protection. The chassis is made from sturdy box section so it may roll rather than crunch if hit wrong.

There were some ergonomic issues before we could start welding...

Just a few more bits to do and it'll be perfect.
Then we can sell it and build something to make this look tame :)
